True contentment and happiness does not come from finally getting what we wanted, but appreciating what we do have.
11/17/10 Contentment is something we must learn. It isn’t a trait we were born with. How you may ask? We entered this life empty handed and we leave it the same way. All we really need then is something to eat, to wear, and to live in order to be content. Everything beyond that is extra! Contentment is possible when we stop striving for more in the externals and look inside for all the blessings with a grateful heart.

I believe everyday is a gift from our Creator. As we age, some may fear the unknown~death. People who become aware of their mortality find they have actually gained freedom to live. They have found they have an appreciation for the present. We are all here to contribute love, forgiveness, and service. As I age, I want to nourish my soul's purpose. If we are open to grace, people will appear in our lives to encourage growth of our souls. Allow me to provide daily nourishment through loving words, because joy is our birthright. I call these my daily "Truth Vitamins" for spiritual health. Join me in discovering together our inner soul purpose with "Love~that's all there is".
