6/13/11 Happiness does not have to come with a great effort, but some spend a lifetime seeking it. Joy is as close as you are able to see, and there is nothing we have to do or get or be to experience it. The key is to stop driving it away! Stop the “if/then” thinking; if this happens, then I will be happy. You have it all inside you right now! Accept what is and learn the lesson life is teaching you in this grand classroom.

My Son had a boss who was intolerable. Belitted everyone and made them feel small. When it was learned that he had a spot on his lung, quite frankly most of his coworkers didn't feel sorry for him. Even while sick, he still criticized ruthlessly. Today he went in for his surgery and...today he died on the operating table. No one was expecting it. Many folks felt guilty, but didn't know why. Maybe he didn't make it because not enough people prayed for his recovery. Jesus understood this. "Don't just pray for those you love, Pray for your enemies, too." Now I understand as well. Author - Linda BeckwithI believe everyday is a gift from our Creator. As we age, some may fear the unknown~death. People who become aware of their mortality find they have actually gained freedom to live. They have found they have an appreciation for the present. We are all here to contribute love, forgiveness, and service. As I age, I want to nourish my soul's purpose. If we are open to grace, people will appear in our lives to encourage growth of our souls. Allow me to provide daily nourishment through loving words, because joy is our birthright. I call these my daily "Truth Vitamins" for spiritual health. Join me in discovering together our inner soul purpose with "Love~that's all there is". Archives
