10/2/10 Does your candle burn at both ends? Burnout is a condition caused by unbalance: too much work or responsibility and not enough time for pleasure. First-degree burnout~the soul snuffer~comes from living unbalanced for years. When you are suffering from burnout, you are the only one who can take the detour to begin relying on God’s strength within to restore you to wholeness. Spirit takes no prisoners.

I have a different take on Burnout. Burnout is when you spend too much time doing work that is meaningless, most likely related to monetary demands. It's a "Pleasure" to do work that has meaning in God's eyes, no matter how much time you put into it. You may become physically exhausted, or suffer pain, but your spirit will remain strong. Author - Linda BeckwithI believe everyday is a gift from our Creator. As we age, some may fear the unknown~death. People who become aware of their mortality find they have actually gained freedom to live. They have found they have an appreciation for the present. We are all here to contribute love, forgiveness, and service. As I age, I want to nourish my soul's purpose. If we are open to grace, people will appear in our lives to encourage growth of our souls. Allow me to provide daily nourishment through loving words, because joy is our birthright. I call these my daily "Truth Vitamins" for spiritual health. Join me in discovering together our inner soul purpose with "Love~that's all there is". Archives
