12/31/11 Be kind to yourself when the New Year begins. Breathe in new energy, because of all the decisions you made last year are in the past. Make a list of any changes made, including breakthroughs, accomplishments, and achievements. Give yourself permission to expand beyond any limits. What stands in the way of joy and the magnificence of life? What turns your inner light on?
12/30/11 Misery is uncomfortable regardless of our surroundings. Improving your spiritual life removes the misery and replaces it with serenity and love. The first step in having your dreams come true is having them. Things can change for the better in a moment’s notice! You need to go through all you did to get to where you are now. Joy is inevitable, and things get better mixed with love.
12/29/11 The feeling of freedom that comes from groundlessness and breaking free of gravity inspires us to want to take flight again and again. Metaphorically, we take flight whenever we break free of a particular way of thinking or rise above the old habits and experience new insights. We open our minds and gain wings when the strength of our passion exceeds the strength of our blockages. It is a state of grace that reminds us of who we really are.
12/28/11 There is no such thing as a “good” year or a “bad” year. Life is what you make it each and every day. Every day is a chance to wipe the slate clean and make a fresh start. Why not do it today? There is no one magical day to make changes, because today is all you are promised. Get a jump start on the New Year, and make the changes to improve the quality of your life. Your life is determined by you and you only!
12/27/11 A rainy or snowy day can be a blessing in disguise. As the rain pours down, fill your home with light, sound, and warmth to appreciate the feeling of being snug and protected. A snow storm can literally change the energy in the air. Try to sweep away all of that negative energy and fill it with positive light and color. Every dark cloud that comes along ultimately has a silver lining, if you choose to see it.
12/26/11 Life is about adventure and challenges. The challenges may be painful, but can be overcome. You were born to thrive. We are all innately driven to better ourselves to strive, to learn, to grow, and seek success rather than failure. We are not here by any accident, but Divinely planned to find peace, love, and joy through God. Seek it!
12/25/11 God knows no distance. The rushing around has subsided for a day. Slow down and let in the mystery of life that surrounds you. Don’t take for granted all the time you share with family. Have a little play time, while decreasing your tolerance for stress. You can always gain access to God through your Spirit with freedom and confidence. Merry Christmas to all.
12/24/11 Be vigilant in maintaining tranquility throughout the season. Stay calm and focused when worry and excitement press you into making hasty decisions. Find emotional balance by breathing in God and exhaling out fear. God blesses you so you can bless others. Live and sleep in heavenly peace, praying for joy to the world. Peace to you tonight and always.
12/23/11 Do you ever notice how energized you feel when giving of yourself freely. It is an exciting experience when we find that perfect gift, especially for our loved ones. We await their delight. Remember, it is not the size of the gift but the care that accompanied the act. Unattached giving requires grace. The joy of giving is the spirit of this season! Don’t forget the “guest of honor” and invite Him into your heart.
12/22/11 Everything matters. If you are talking to yourself unfavorably, stop now. Watch yourself…listen…pay attention. With great power comes even greater responsibility. The reality is that we have endless opportunities to demonstrate faithful and loving acts at any time. Thinking big, but acting small is equivalent to thinking small!!! When in doubt, “act as if”. Use your head and your heart for great results!
