10/31/12 If we have a dream and an intention, we can accomplish anything. Einstein believed that intention and imagination are connected and said “imagination is more important than knowledge”. That means being able to see where you want to go and understanding what your intention is. The key is being aware of the present moment.
The design of the human being is to enjoy the spiritual life first, not the material. Seek Spirit.10/30/2012
10/30/12 Seeking a spiritual solution means finding new solutions to old problems. You can’t solve a problem with the same mind that created it, because change must occur to heal. From a sacred place within us, we can be born anew again and again. The spirit is like the wind. The wind and spirit are the same word in Greek. The presence of God is always there if we seek it. Seek first God’s strength!
10/29/12 When disaster strikes, the thousands of threads that make up the fabric of our community come together in unity. Everyone reacts differently to disaster, even in their spiritual lives. Some even say they feel more alive and connected to God during and immediately after. Prayer is a powerful form of calm in the midst of a storm. Prayer heals!
10/28/12 We don’t have to leave our everyday environment to do work on the inside of us. Our inner world and outer environment should be continuously informing each other, making connections between our intuitive thoughts and our honest actions. Make sure the lens of life you look through shows a clear picture of authenticity.
10/27/12 Our lives may be determined by feeding ourselves stories that heal. Two Wolves: A Native American grandfather is talking to his grandson about how he feels about a tragedy in their village. I feel as if I have 2 wolves fighting in my heart. One wolf is vengeful and angry, and the other is loving and kind. The grandson wants to know which wolf will win. The grandfather replies, “The one I feed.”
The person who has confidence in themselves gains the confidence of others. Believe in yourself!10/26/2012
10/26/12 A strong sense of personal confidence is often a key ingredient in the achievement of your goals. When you believe in your abilities, others will sense your resolve and put their faith in you. Challenging goals are attainable if you are determined. The confidence you have today can help keep your focus on the goal no matter what!
10/25/12 Altitude is our viewing point or perspective. The higher our viewing point, the more we can see. Attitude is the way we approach things or our point of view. Is life a problem to be solved or an adventure to be enjoyed? We have infinite possibilities for living in either Problemville or Adventureland. The choice is ours!
10/24/12 Happiness is always found wherever we are, making the most ordinary time the most magical. When you seek joy in the present, you find it in the future. Seeing a rainbow or getting up to watch the sunrise can be a moment of awe. The changing seasons add majesty of color and beauty. We are exposed to uplifting scenery that brings purpose and clarity to the depth of our being. Breathe it in!
10/23/12 Live the life of your dreams! We must simply ask and respond with appropriate action. Life doesn’t need to be so complicated. God gives us gifts and truly wants us to have our heart’s desire. Once we have a clear vision of what we desire, step into the realm of unlimited possibilities. Release attachment to the outcome, and express sincere gratitude for the blessings already received.
10/22/12 Kindness and love are at the heart of every spiritual path. If you are on the right path, forgiveness is a natural part of your spiritual evolution. Chronic fatigue and pain are sometimes the result of repressed anger. We need to express our feelings in a kind and loving manner, without suppressing them. A dramatic turn-around is possible when we are honest, open and speak from our hearts.
