10/31/10 Fatigue can attack at any time, especially after eating Halloween candy! Here are a few ways to energize you. Sing, wear red, smell peppermint, drink lots of water, laugh, and vigorously rub your ears ~ just some quick fixes. By breathing deeply, stretching, or walking outside in the sun you move blood and oxygen creating energy. Lastly, smile and put the zippidy-doo-dah back in your life!
10/30/10 What does home really mean? Home represents our point of identity, our base of operations, our primary responsibility. Home gives life its roots, its sense of direction and purpose. We count on it over the long routine of a day and develop a security, stability, and a consistency. What about home with eternal dimensions and incredible proportions? It means facing every new dawn with dependence, living literally on the raw edge of reality. Home is where the heart is. Make it happyJ
The storms of difficulties can bring showers of blessings if we keep our eyes open to see them.10/29/2010
10/29/10 It can be very challenging to maintain a positive attitude and a measure of faith when you are in the midst of difficult times. There are extreme energy changes pulsing through the universe, and we are part of the growing process and the growing pains. This difficult time will give way to something new and different. Find comfort in the wise saying “This too shall pass”.
10/28/10 Breate. Take in the breath of life. The source of your being. Exhale. Let go of all the upsets that take your breath away. All negative energy. Breathe. Take in oxygen’s healing love. Exhale. Release the part of you that doesn’t want to breathe-afraid to embrace life. Life is a gentle, easy breeze. Affirm that you are One with nature, the Universe, and the Divine. May this beauty stay with you and be the only thing that takes your breath away.
10/27/10 The things we don’t want to look at in ourselves are the very things we need to look at. It is one of life’s great paradoxes. The feelings that make us want to run away are buried treasures full of inspiration if we are willing to look. These messengers bring information for growth. Unfelt emotions are stuck energy. When we release the blockage, out pours the insight and compassion from the treasure chest of wisdom.
10/26/10 The hardest thing to overcome in life is how we think about ourselves. We don’t know who we are until we see what we can do. Never think defeat because hidden within every setback is a blessing in disguise. Find the lessons in the education of defeat. You haven’t failed until you’ve stopped trying. Try and fail, but don’t fail to try.
10/25/10 Get ready 2 months til Christmas! You CAN teach old dogs new tricks! Anyone can learn new things at any time in life if they are willing to be a beginner. Be on the lookout for new ways to do old things. Always keep your mind open to everything, including alternative methods and plans of action. Life is 10% what happens to you and 90% how you react to it.
10/24/10 Life is not measured by the number of breaths we take, but by the moments that take our breath away. Make your work more pleasurable by a shift in attitude and perspective. You are the only person who can change you. Have the courage to continue seeking a higher spiritual path and your soul will find a new level of growth, leading to serenity and joy. Love.
10/23/10 Samuel Johnson said, “To be happy at home is the ultimate result of all ambition.” Engrave this truth on your consciousness. Make it your mantra; bringing daily life into focus. Life is a paradox, but we don’t want to make it any harder than it is already. The greatest adventure in life is finding our way back home.
10/22/10 If we are alive, we cannot escape loss. Today might be tough for you. You might not want the next moment to reveal the twists and turns of life’s mystery. You have life. A choice as to how to live this precious gift of a day is yours. Don’t waste it away. Cherish it. Above all, be grateful for it. Let your thanksgiving rise above any loss, mistake, or calamity to come.
