We never deserve grace, but through faith are given God's empowerment to accomplish anything.7/31/2012
7/31/12 Having a positive personality does not mean we deny the existence of difficulty. It means we believe God is greater than any problem we may be going through. Having faith can cause us to win any battle we face. We can choose to see the power available through God when we trust Him more than the circumstances. Faith is the pipeline to grace. Grace is God’s enablement!
7/30/12 Positive thinking yields positive results. You release the power of your potential through how you think. Positive thinking keeps life upbeat and encourages positive responses from others. Your perspective is essential when life throws a curve, and it all has to do with having the glass half full instead of half empty. Enjoy an unlimited potential by creating a positive lifestyle of endless possibilities!
7/29/12 When we lack proper perspective, we may consider minor situations to be major problems. The opposite can also happen as we see significant difficulties as no big deal. Whether we are exaggerating or minimizing, the situation gets out of proportion. Look at the whole picture instead of centering on just one thing. Try focusing on the good, not responding emotionally out of fear or panic. Rest.
7/28/12 Impatience is falling short on kindness. Intuition is a suspension of logic due to impatience. Patience is a fruit of the Spirit and along with diligence and faith can move mountains. Patience is the art of concealing your impatience. It is something you admire in the driver behind you, but not the one ahead of you. Adopt nature’s pace.
7/27/12 At its root, character is defined by integrity, and at the heart of integrity is the idea of wholeness. If an object or person has integrity, it means that object or person is in an unbroken condition. If your character, which defines you, is broken, you no longer have integrity. Without integrity, there’s not much character. Live wholly and true!
7/26/12 The nature of God cannot be seen through the lens of a telescope. God put the idea of Himself in your heart. Yet God is more than an idea. He is a very real Spirit who has existed in the past, who exists now, and will always exist in the future. All we have to do is stop, look, and listen to that still, small voice of the Great Reality within.
7/25/12 Don’t live your life to please others. Keep your life joyful by paying attention to the little things. Do whatever it takes to develop your character and preserve your integrity. People of integrity make an easy target for critics because they walk humbly. Others may determine your reputation, but you determine your character by what you stand for. Keep promises.
7/24/12 It is easy to get caught in the trap of instant gratification when you focus on the results rather than the journey. The joy of living is always in the journey and in the delight of growing spiritually. The only way to bring abundance into your life is to bring forth the painstaking art of discipline. Balance, consistency, and perseverance all come from one thing: discipline!
7/23/12 Consider yourself an ongoing project; a work in progress and always improving. Never stay stagnant, you’ll stink! The time you stop learning is when you stop breathing. Technology waits for no one, and if your mind is like a computer, it needs programming! God designed us to use our brains and live above the level of mediocrity. Spiritual growth is a privilege, not a burden. It requires discipline. Fix your thoughts on what is true and honorable, and watch God move in you!
7/22/12 Without prayer, there is no way, no truth, and no life. Without prayer, you cannot get close to God. Start small; talk to God in a quiet, serene place where your ego is not an issue. Live and pray humbly. Prayer changes things. It connects you to the infinite, all powerful, all loving Divine Source, God, Creator of the Universe!
