6/30/18 Before the invention of artificial light, people slept as much as 14 hours a day! Once we learned to light the night, we rested less and loved more light. Accept more peace and tranquility by allowing more dark time for prayerful intervention.
6/29/18 Pride creates an artificial reality and lies to us. Humility is accepting truth about ourselves as we are even if we can't change it. It is knowing what we don't know and having a more compassionate, grateful perspective.
6/28/18 When we are using our gifts rightly, they pour out of us like a swiftly moving river. They flow without effort when poured out for the benefit of others. Give and it will be given back to us, but anger stops the flow of goodness.
6/27/18 There is always a way to adapt and adjust to the present bumper to bumper situations. Life takes unexpected turns on the road. Enjoy the ride of less resistance and focus on accepting a few detours along the way.
6/26/18 God is the Great Mystery. Humility is enjoying what we cannot explain and discovering what we cannot discover. In God are hidden all the riches and treasures we are seeking.
6/25/18 Humility is living with things we don't like. It is accepting people and unexpected events that we cannot change. Sometimes the worst thing that happens ends up being the most fundamental part of our spiritual growth.
6/24/18 The world says do more, be more, and want more of everyone and everything, including ourselves. This gets in the way of true satisfaction, as unfulfilled expectations lead to disappointment.
6/23/18 Suffering is connected to how we respond to it. We all have times of vulnerability and feeling like giving up, but strength comes through perseverance. We don't need to know why, only that love is in the center of every obstacle.
6/22/18 When we praise, we raise joy. When we serve, we create happiness on both sides of the coin. When we love, we are enlightened by the presence of the Almighty for He is the agape Love.
6/21/18 Nothing is too big or too small for God. He doesn't supply what is missing but points to the treasures we already have within. God works best with deficiencies, as they are invitations not interruptions.
