God is the soul's revealer.

5/30/2015

5/30/15  There is a window in our heart where we can see God. If a pebble of pain shatters the glass causing a spider web of fragmented pieces, will God become distant and out of focus? Don't let pain and disappointment cause heartsickness, losing a clear vision of what really matters. Pain is God's megaphone to awaken the sleepwalkers. Feel pain but don't dwell on it.

God is always good and always on time.

5/29/2015

5/29/15  We cannot go any faster than the traffic lights permit. Human collisions occur when we fail to yield or exceed the speed. Exceeding the spiritual speed limit is when we rush ahead of God's will and fail to yield the right of way to God's good purpose for our lives. Life is all about learning to wait on God's perfect timing in time.

There are no speed limits on the road to seeking God's purpose.

5/28/2015

5/28/15  Speed does not necessarily lead to distance traveled. The accelerator, as well as the brake, is just as much a part of God's plan for our lives. The stops along the way are as important as the steps taken to get there. God makes all things beautiful in its time. Two years early may be too early. Release the spiritual lead foot and brake for the joy of living.

The God of  love is always punctual.

5/27/2015

5/27/15  God's clock is never late. There are no haphazard moments in nature. The sun rises and sets as planned every day. The paradox lies in the fact that the timeless one is always on time with exact precision. The gears of God's plan always mesh. The plan may be slow in coming but when it comes, it is precise.

God is just a prayer away.

5/26/2015

5/26/15  The essence of love is not what we think or do or even what we provide for others. It is all about how much we give of ourselves. Agape love is unconditional love with no strings attached. Whenever we give our time, we are making a sacrifice. When we give focused attention through sacrificing our time helping another, we display the essence of love.

Thank you is a complete and simple prayer.

5/25/2015

5/25/15  Joseph Campbell said, "A hero is someone who has given his or her life to something bigger than oneself." We thank God for the men who served our country in valiant service for our freedom. Their sacrifices should always remain in our hearts with an undying gratitude that can never be repaid. Freedom is never free.

People may look at outward appearances, but God sees the heart.

5/24/2015

5/24/15  Now is always the best time to express love. Circumstances change. Children grow up. We do not know how long we will have the opportunity to express love. There is no guarantee of tomorrow. True love shows itself in action not by inaction. Spiritual maturity is measured by the quality of our outward living. Are you living with clarity of purpose through love and service to others?

The valley may be there to bring us closer to the One True Source, God.

5/23/2015

5/23/15  In times of spiritual doubting,  patiently rely and trust God. He has a good plan for our life. When we trust God even when it doesn't make sense, we are being taken to a deeper level of spiritual maturity. To doubt is not unusual, even preachers doubt at times. God shows us the way through the valleys, making it a time of insightful retrospection.

The only way out of a situation is through.

5/22/2015

5/22/15  Don't smuggle the fractures of bitterness or the scars of resentment into our life.  They threaten to destroy those who carry it. and can devour us slowly from the inside out. Guilt and shame are also enemies of the soul.  God is the unseen guest in our home 24/7 and the slayer of emotional distress.  He sees everything we do.  An overdose of humility may be necessary to heal the internal wound.

The tide is at its lowest before it turns.

5/21/2015

5/21/15  Change is not easy, but stay ready for the transformation. Never give up the dream too soon. When we stay vigilant in pursuing the fulfillment of our purpose, we eventually experience all the joy that comes with it. Our thoughts, desires, and even people we spend time with may change. Make a decision that at the end of life there are no regrets when looking back. Don't be afraid of change; It is inevitable.

I believe everyday is a gift from our Creator. As we age, some may fear the unknown~death. People who become aware of their mortality find they have actually gained freedom to live. They have found they have an appreciation for the present. We are all here to contribute love, forgiveness, and service. As I age, I want to nourish my soul's purpose. If we are open to grace, people will appear in our lives to encourage growth of our souls. Allow me to provide daily nourishment through loving words, because joy is our birthright. I call these my daily "Truth Vitamins" for spiritual health. Join me in discovering together our inner soul purpose with "Love~that's all there is".
