5/31/11 It hurts to endure life’s trials. Without these deep hurts, we have very little capacity to receive our progress toward spiritual maturity. It is the test of time stretched to the limit. God is honing us through such tests. Stretching us…breaking us… crushing us…reducing us to the hour of humility with an open armed trust, where we say, “God help me”. This is the opening to healing and joy in our life. Thank you.
5/30/11 I am thankful for those who serve our country. Everyone should stop and honor America’s fallen heros on Memorial Day, because they gave their lives for our freedom. We should take a moment and look into our souls to see what we are doing with bloodstained legacy they have left behind. On this solemn holiday, we should consider what sacrifices were made for freedom and prosperity. Honor all with a prayer of gratitude.
5/29/11 When we choose acceptance, we can make the most of what we have been given. Acceptance is changing ourselves in order to adapt to hard realities, allowing us to conform mentally and spiritually to life events that we have no control over. Acceptance is a choice we make every moment, every day. Acceptance, love, and change are processes of self discovery. With love we are Truth.
5/28/11 When making personal change, fear is one of our greatest obstacles. Transformational change begins with honesty about ourselves and what we want in life. We need to be willing to put honesty into action. Visualize and imagine your changed life and believe it will happen. Make a commitment, putting faith in the center. The answer to all problems is the honest acceptance of “what is”.
5/27/11 Most of us don’t fully realize that we have within us the ability to co-create out lives. We are taught to accept what we are given and not dream of anything more. Those hopes and dreams are the universe whispering for us to use our gifts. God truly wants to give you your heart’s desires, but you need to ask first.
Our intentions must come from the still, quiet place to the pure energy of creation. We design our own dreams and orchestrate all the details to bring our desires to manifestation. 5/25/11 Being generally happy has to do with
what you do all day. It is just as much how you feel as what you do. Doing certain things everyday such as prayer, silent contemplation, and exercise will help release happy cells. Practice the art of gratitude. What are some of the activities that stir your Spirit? Smile and the world smiles with you. 5/26/11 Rediscover the little things in life that make you happy. Add a new little thing each day and be prepared to shine! Life is full of little wonders, like the sound of a baby’s laughter, a smell with memories, a favorite shirt, or a cup of tea. Put on the glasses of your youth and experience the simple pleasures with joyful surprise. There is an endles supply of treasures and pleasures. When we look for them, they magically start to appear. There is always a light at the end of the tunnel. Stay positive, not helpless during the dark hours.5/24/2011
5/24/11 There is nothing in your life that cannot be overcome. Whatever the problem, there is always a solution. Time, persistence, focused thought, and faith will help us search out the right course of action. Believe that this obstacle can be overcome. God gives us strength in weakness to move through any crisis. Make a resolution that you will prevail, enlisting many different views on how to solve it. Remember to believe you can get through the problem, make a choice, and peace will prevail. Prayer works!!!
5/23/11 Grace exists inside all of us and all around us. It is the beauty inside that radiates outward, touching everyone we meet. This state of grace is not based on worthiness, nor is it earned through good deeds. It is our birthright, an unearned favor that is available to all. Grace is the pause between the notes that makes the melody. It is unconditional love and beauty that is our humanity. When we know we are blessed with grace, harmony results through love and forgiveness.
5/22/11 If you haven’t already discovered it, life is a balancing act between what you ought to do and what you want to do. Your lifespan should be longer; your health should be better. In our eagerness to achieve more material success and personal gratification, we have overlooked whether we are happier because of it. We are drowning in technology and information. Our greatest challenge is to turn information into knowledge, and knowledge into wisdom. Be a force for good. What a legacy you are leaving, what a joy!!!
5/21/11 When life on earth is ending, people don’t surround themselves with objects. What we want around us is people; those we love. In our final moments, we all realize that relationships are what life is all about. Wisdom is learning that truth sooner rather than later. Love always leaves a legacy. It is not what you do, but how much you love.

Author - Linda BeckwithI believe everyday is a gift from our Creator. As we age, some may fear the unknown~death. People who become aware of their mortality find they have actually gained freedom to live. They have found they have an appreciation for the present. We are all here to contribute love, forgiveness, and service. As I age, I want to nourish my soul's purpose. If we are open to grace, people will appear in our lives to encourage growth of our souls. Allow me to provide daily nourishment through loving words, because joy is our birthright. I call these my daily "Truth Vitamins" for spiritual health. Join me in discovering together our inner soul purpose with "Love~that's all there is". Archives
