A handful of patience is worth more than a bushel of brains.

3/31/2012

3/31/12  The universe teaches us patience and acceptance.  It is taught through little annoyances.  It is how you react to each experience.  Patience is impatience stretched to its limit, which in turn improves your tolerance.  If everyone were a little more tolerant of each other, the world would be a friendly place.  We are all reflections of each other so stop judging yourself so harshly!

Act with integrity, in accordance with your priorities and the guidance of the still, small voice within.

3/30/12  Moderation in all things and in all things moderation.  Our strong points, when taken to an extreme, can become weaknesses.  Self-discipline is the quality of mind that is based on clarity and balance.  Fix your mind on your priorities, and with flexibility, approach them with patience and self-acceptance!

Helen Keller said the only thing worse than being blind is having sight, but no vision.

3/29/2012

3/29/12  Sight is the ability to see the physical world while vision is the gift of seeing beyond it.  One of the reasons meditation is done with closed eyes is because we automatically become more in touch with our inner world.  There are no external distractions.  Our journey is not traced on a map, but ultimately carries us from the realm of sight to the land of Spirit!

Stop thinking in terms of limitations, and start thinking in terms of possibilities. Each moment is filled with them.

3/28/2012

3/28/12  Do you look through the lens of possibility?  There would be no average days.  There would be no reason for days of discouragement.  Nothing can hold you back from conquering the enemies that steal your joy or disturb your soul.  Anything is possible when you believe in God’s endless possibilities!  Ask, believe, and receive.

Self-discipline begins with mastery of your thoughts. Think first and act afterward. It is crucial to a more contented life.

3/27/2012

3/27/12  Self-discipline is a concept sought by many.  Try keeping your priorities in mind so that your thoughts and actions are in alignment with your intentions.  Eliminate those habits of mind and patterns of behavior that get in the way of realizing those intentions.  If you thought of self-discipline as Self-discipline, the true meaning would be to learn from your Higher Self!

People demand freedom of speech as a compensation for the freedom of thought, which they seldom use.

3/26/12  Pleasant words are like a honeycomb, sweet to the soul and health to the body.  Words have power.  Music, with its lyrics and songs, affect people.  Prayers and affirmations are some of the ways you can affect your frame of mind.  Talk of happiness, faith, and health.  God hears your words and makes it true.  Keep your path free and clear!

The subconscious never forgets anything, but can be retrained to react in love to all situations.

3/25/2012

3/25/12  All things that have happened to you are based on thoughts impressed on your subconscious mind through belief.  If you have conveyed the wrong messages or concepts to your subconscious, overcome this by adding constructive, creative, and harmonious thoughts.  Repeat them over like affirmations of love, peace, and balance.  Good habits heal when accepted by continued repetition.

Once you choose hope, anything is possible. Have faith.

3/24/2012

3/24/12  When life hands you lemons, make lemonade.  There is no situation so completely hopeless that something constructive and creative cannot be done about it.  Realize that there are no hopeless situations, only people with hopeless attitudes.  Never get discouraged, because life is always worth living! J

People underestimate their capacity for change. Continuous effort, not intelligence, is the key to unlock your potential.

3/23/2012

3/23/12  Keep aiming to surpass your own best performance and always strive to reach higher goals.  The only person to compete with is you.  When you measure yourself against another, it causes resentment and negative thought patterns.  Don’t get thrown off your own timing.  We only use a small portion of our potential abilities.  Find the better way, and achieve your full potential!

Everyone is the age of their heart. Growing old is mandatory; growing up is optional! It is never too late to have a happy childhood.

3/22/2012

3/22/12  Start preparing for a cheerful old age when you are young.  When you are 70, you will be as you are at 30; only more so.  For example, if you are tight with money at 30, you will be a miser at 70.  However, if you are kind and thoughtful at 30, you will be lovable and extremely delightful at 70!  Choose wisely grasshopper…

I believe everyday is a gift from our Creator. As we age, some may fear the unknown~death. People who become aware of their mortality find they have actually gained freedom to live. They have found they have an appreciation for the present. We are all here to contribute love, forgiveness, and service. As I age, I want to nourish my soul's purpose. If we are open to grace, people will appear in our lives to encourage growth of our souls. Allow me to provide daily nourishment through loving words, because joy is our birthright. I call these my daily "Truth Vitamins" for spiritual health. Join me in discovering together our inner soul purpose with "Love~that's all there is".
