3/31/11 To be at one with God is to be at peace. Peace is found within us, not in the eternal world. It lies within one’s own soul. Our ever-growing soul can only be satisfied in the Infinite God. As the sea must ebb and flow according to the tide, so the soul has no peace until it rests in God. He is always awake so you can sleep in tranquil peace. Know God~Know Peace.
3/30/11 At the end of the day, the dark stillness calls us to rest. There is a magic and power of nighttime rituals for self-appreciation and blessing. Before bed, send thoughts of gratitude, compassion, and healing to your spirit up until this moment. Send light and love into the future to empower hope on your journey of spiritual growth. Let the past have its place, trust the future, and simply rest in the graceful arms of the present. Sweet dreams.
Death is not the greatest loss in life. The greatest loss is what dies inside us while we live. You obviously have some intention to live, or you wouldn't be alive. The intention can be reinforced and made stronger by looking yourself in the mirror and saying aloud "I want to live." Persevere through the fear, unworthiness, and anger you feel for yourself. The goal is to strengthen the intention to live fully each day. Our life is a gift; love the present!
3/28/11 One of the best ways to overcome grief and pain is to reach out and help others in need. Selfless service can open our hearts and move us from despair. Smiling can change your brain chemistry, and when we help others the joy comes back to us. Thoughts also have power, so use your thoughts to help and serve others by spreading goodwill. You too will feel harmony and peace. Try it…
3/27/11 True silence is the rest of the mind; it is the source of great strength. It is to the spirit and soul what sleep is to the body. When we learn to listen to silence, we will be able to hear the Infinite or Divine Intelligence. Once we are able to speak what is important to us, we will find more beauty in silence. Too many of us lead lives of noisy, confused desperation. God speaks in whispers to believers. Do you get answers in silence?
3/26/11 Hope is defined as the attitude of anticipation. The words “hope” and “hop” appear to be related, because to hope is the idea of leaping in expectation. It can be related also to optimism and a positive view of the future. Everything that is done in our world is done by hope, because we all live for something better to come. What are your hopes and dreams? Learn from yesterday, live for today, hope for tomorrow. Do everything in love.
3/25/11 Trust is an essential ingredient to surrender. You won’t surrender to God unless you trust Him. You need to know Him to trust Him. Fear can keep us from “white-flag” surrendering, but love casts out all fear. The more you realize how much God loves you, the easier surrender becomes. We give ourselves to the Divine, not out of fear or duty, but in love. He loved us first.
3/24/11 Pain comes and goes. It is just one component in our life cycle. When experienced, pain can serve as a valuable teacher. It is when we get stuck in it that it becomes detrimental to our well-being and development. If we hold on to pain longer than necessary, we are expending energy that could instead be channeled into making our life more positive. Learn and grow from pain and you will know peace.
3/23/11 Every millisecond of every minute a miracle is unfolding. The results that we experience in the physical world regardless of how insignificant, are in reality a miracle creation limited only by what you allow them to be. Einstein said you can look at life in two ways: as if everything is a miracle or as if nothing is a miracle. Which way do you experience your life?
3/22/11 Most of us are familiar with the idea of keeping it real and have an intuitive sense about what that means. They don’t need to hide behind any masks to keep themselves safe from their fear of how they might be perceived. They don’t present a false sense in order to appear perfect, powerful, and more independent. The world shows us images of physical and material perfection. We suffer internally when we masquerade ourselves, and should seek to example letting our defenses down and relax in the truth of who we are.

People who become aware of their mortality find they have actually gained freedom to live. They have found they have an appreciation for the present. We are all here to contribute love, forgiveness, and service. As I age, I want to nourish my soul's purpose. If we are open to grace, people will appear in our lives to encourage growth of our souls. Allow me to provide daily nourishment through loving words, because joy is our birthright. I call these my daily "Truth Vitamins" for spiritual health.
