1/31/13 We have not because we ask not. For joyful living, always ask for God’s will to be done and praise Him for all blessings received. God cares about us individually. Nothing happens by chance; there is a divine plan for every day and every circumstance in our lives.
1/30/13 Nothing is impossible. Beethoven was deaf by the age 46 and wrote his greatest music during that period. Roosevelt was paralyzed but went on to become president and elected four times. Nothing can take the place of perseverance. The key to success is setting a goal and going after it. There is nothing that we cannot do, if we believe and pursue!
1/29/13 It is a paradox that true wealth is found not in how much you have, but in how much you give away. You have a multitude of gifts within yourself—a smile, a compliment, a word of encouragement, or a listening ear. The greatest treasure is life itself, and the freedom to walk with the God of unlimited love and grace. It is that easy!
1/28/13 Gratitude works miracles and adjusts your thinking. Don’t put off until tomorrow what you can do today. Start each day with a prayer of thanksgiving and ask God to guide your choices, letting His perfect will be done whatever the outcome. The best days of our lives are right now!
1/27/13 Forgiveness is a choice freely made. It is a gift we can either give or withhold. When it is offered to us, we can accept it or reject it. Our option is freedom or bondage. Forgiveness is a virtue of the brave, and a key to personal peace and contentment. It is good for the physical body as it is for the soul. It is that divine loving spark within us. By letting go of resentment comes great strength!
1/26/13 You are perfect, just as you are now. Every “now” moment is a glorious gift from God. The soul intuitively seeks the perfect circumstance and situation needed to heal wrong thinking and bring you to the rightful experience of who you really are. The soul’s desire is to rest in God’s loving embrace. It understands what the mind cannot conceive. Your heart longs for Truth.
1/25/13 “When we were children, we were grateful to those who filled our stockings at Christmastime. Why are we not grateful to God for filling our stockings with legs?” G.K. Chesterton----Reflect on your blessings, not on misfortunes, and realize God’s amazing love for you. There are rainbows within every storm; only when we look for them.
1/24/13 Your personality is the sum total of all your experiences, from birth onward, and how you react to them. Never underestimate the power of your thoughts and actions. You pass through this world only once. Pull up the weeds of bitterness and resentment, and plant the seeds of love and kindness. Sow good seed.
1/23/13 Life is like a mirror. If you frown at it, it will scowl back. If you smile, it returns the grin. Our minds are like turbulent waters at times; filled with confusion, regret, or worry. The mind is constantly flooded with a stream of the world’s bad news. Give your negative thoughts to God. Chose the act of gratitude at the end of the day, and focus your mind on tranquil thoughts of God’s love for you!
1/22/13 Positive thoughts create and inspire. An optimistic attitude can physically strengthen you. It energizes your spirit. Good thoughts bear good fruit so accentuate the positive. Everyone is born with a spark of faith. It is up to you to kindle the flame and light the most powerful force in your life. Believe!
